Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who will develop and curate engaging and visually appealing content for our social media platforms. Our aim is to attract and retain social media followers, increase brand awareness, drive user engagement, and ultimately contribute to the growth and success of Candleporium Fragrance House.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule engaging social media content (graphics, reels, and stories) for Instagram, Tik Tok, etc…
  • Design branded visuals for newsletters, social media posts, promotions, events, and product launches (using Canva or similar tools)
  • Capture in-store content: candle classes, customer experiences, behind-the-scenes, new product launches.
  • Design and schedule email newsletters via Mailchimp
  • Maintain a content calendar and coordinate marketing around seasonal launches
  • Assist with in-store events, holiday promotions, and campaigns
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice and visuals across platforms (social media, website, store listings, etc…)
  • Track performance metrics and suggest content optimizations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in social media, content marketing, or graphic design
  • Graphic design skills are required. Please provide portfolio for review.
  • Proficiency in Canva (or Adobe tools), Instagram, TikTok, and email platforms
  • Strong visual eye, copywriting skills, and basic photo/video editing
  • Comfortable working in-store and capturing content in real time
  • Experience in photography and/or videography is a plus.
  • Passion for candles, fragrance, design, or boutique retail is a big plus

Schedule and Pay:

  • Part time. 
  • In store. Minimum 3 days per week. Flexible schedule.
  • $15 – $20 per hour, depending on experience.
