Candle Making FAQ
Are Reservations Required?
Reservations are not required but are strongly recommended, especially on weekends and for groups of four or more. All bookings are subject to availability.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to scheduled class may be eligible for a refund.
Please note: cancellations due to anticipated, forecasted, or potential weather conditions are not eligible for refunds, regardless of the notice period. Guests may reschedule or receive a class credit instead.
Classes will proceed as scheduled unless local/city authorities, property management and emergency officals mandate closure. In the event of an offical closure, guests will be offered rescheduling or a class credit.
No-Shows & Late Arrivals
No-shows and late arrivals will not receive a refund.
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled class time. Guests arriving after designated start time may not be accommodated and will forfeit their booking.
What is the cost of the class and what is included in the price?
The candle- making experience is $50 per person. This includes all necessary materials and one finished candle with an approximate 70-hour burn time.
Can I record a video of the class?
Guests are welcome to capture moments of their experience for personal use and social media. However, recording the calss in its entirety is not permitted.
Can I bring food?
Yes, we encourage guests to bring in light bites to enjoy during the candle-making experience. Approved items include charcuterie boards, cold sandwiches, and other non-heated foods (except during provate events, where additonal options are available).
Please note: we do not allow seafood, curry dishes, or heavily spiced foods with strong lingering odors.
All food must be pre-approved by our team.
Can I bring alcohol?
Yes, we are a BYOB experience. Guests are welcome to bring their beverage of choice to enjoy responsibly during the class.
Please note: all guests consuming alcohol must be 21 years and older.
What are the age requirements for the candle making experience?
We recommend the experience for guests 10 and up.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the candle making experience. A waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian for all participants under 18.
Can I take my candle home the same day?
Candles require a minimum of 45 minutes to 1 hour to properly set before they can be taken home.
Guests are welcome to:
- Pick up their candle later the same day.
- Return on another day within our holding period.
We will hold all candles for up to 60 days. Shipping can also be arranged for an additional fee.
Please note: guests attending late classes will need to pick up their candles the following day or within the 60- day holding period.
What is your return policy?
Due to the personalized nature of each candle created during the candle- making experience, we regret to inform you that returns or exchanges for these items cannot be accepted.
What if my candles arrive damage during shipping?
Should your candle arrive damaged, we are delighted to re-pour it and re-send it. Please contact us with your shipping details and provide images of the damaged goods within 48 hours of receipt.
General Questions
What type of payment do you accept?
We operate as a cashless establishment, welcoming payments through debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, and Cash App.
What is the store return policy?
Candleporium Fragrance House gladly offers exchanges or store credit for unopened or unused products within 14 days of purchase. All items must be in their original packaging. To initiate a return, please email us at info@candleporium.com and provide your name, order/invoice number, reason for returning the item(s), and whether you prefer an exchange or store credit. Kindly specify the new product you would like to exchange for. At Candleporium we take great care in packaging your products for shipment. However, in the unlikely event of breakage during transit, we kindly request photo evidence of the damaged candle in its original packaging to facilitate the shipment of a replacement. Please note that once packages are delivered to your location, Candleporium Fragrance House is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. We cannot assume liability for incorrect shipping addresses entered at checkout, so please ensure their accuracy and contact us promptly if adjustments are needed. Please keep in mind that customers are responsible for all postage costs associated with returning candles for exchanges. Candleporium Fragrance House retains the right to decline returns or exchanges that do not comply with the stated conditions in our return policy. If your items are not accepted, they will be returned to you at your expense, and no exchange will be granted. Please be aware that items showing signs of use or not in a resellable condition will not be eligible for exchange. Regrettably, personalized orders can only be returned if they are damaged during transit. Sale items are final and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. Additionally, gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.
When will my purchase ship?
Orders placed on Candleporium Fragrance website are typically processed within 2-3 business days. Following processing, shipping time could range between 2 to 5 additional business days depending on the destination. Candleporium is not responsible for shipping delays caused by weather or the carrier once the package is in transit.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, we will send you an email notification with the latest shipment status. This email will also include the tracking information and provide you with the ability to easily access the status of your order.
Can I modify or cancel my order after it has been placed?
Here at Candleporium Fragrance House, we work hard to process your order as quickly as possible. We recommend thoroughly reviewing all information prior to submitting your order.
If your order is in a pending status, we may be able to make modifications, shipping changes, or cancel your order. Please email us immediately at info@candleporium.com if you require a change.

What are your candle care instructions?
- For your first burn, it is important to allow for the entire surface of the candle to liquefy before putting it out. This sets the burn memory of the candle. Do not extinguish candle until the wax has melted edge to edge. This will allow the candle to last longer, prevent tunneling and flooding the wick. We recommend burning candle no more than 4 hours at a time.
- Trim wick to 1/4″ before each light to avoid the formation of excess soot and high burning flames. Make sure your wicks are positioned in the center properly before each light.
- Do not place or burn your candle on heated surfaces. This can cause an increase of the burn and can cause glass to overheat and can potentially crack or explode.
- Do not leave your candle unattended and make sure to avoid fans, drafty areas or gusts of wind which could cause the flame to flare up which can give off black smoke and cause uneven burn. Never let wick touch the side of the candle jar.
- If the candle jar become blackened, extinguish it and allow it to cool and then gentle clean it with a dry paper towel or cloth.
- Never move candle before the jar has cooled and the wax is solid. Ensure candle is extinguished before leaving it unattended.

- To extinguish candle, we recommend using a candle snuffer and blowing the candle out gently.
- When the candle can no longer be burned, remove the residue of wax from the jar and it can now be used for multiple purposes in your home.
