Marketing and Brand Coordinator
Candleporium Fragrance House is seeking a seasoned marketing leader who understands luxury retail, digital storytelling, community building, and experiential marketing.
Position Summary
The Marketing & Brand Coordinator drives all marketing, brand storytelling, customer engagement, and revenue-building campaigns across retail, classes, partnerships, and community membership. This is a strategic + hands-on role — not just posting content.
You will create and execute marketing strategies that enhance the Candleporium experience both online and in-store.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Retail Marketing
- Execute launch campaigns for new product lines (e.g., Voluspa)
- Support in-store merchandising and branded storytelling
- Capture product and lifestyle photos/videos
Digital & Content Marketing
- Plan and manage a monthly marketing calendar
- Create Reels, TikToks, Stories, and short-form content
- Manage Mailchimp newsletters and email campaigns
- Update website pages (WooCommerce) for classes and promotions
Experiential & Class Marketing
- Drive bookings for candle-making classes and private events
- Promote seasonal workshops and corporate experiences
- Assist with marketing for in-store events and pop-ups
Partnerships & Community
- Manage brand partner promotions and collaborations
- Support influencer outreach and media activations
- Grow Candleporium’s membership community
Design
- Create flyers, digital graphics, and simple marketing materials using Canva
OTHER
- Reporting on marketing performance
- Assisting with in-store event setup
- Capturing content during classes/events
- Maintaining brand quality across all platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 + years of experience in marketing, preferably in retail, lifestyle, beauty, or experiential brands
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-Time: 20–25 hours/week
- Hybrid (must be available for on-site work weekly)
- Expected to grow into a full-time role in Q2 2026
- Strong social media and digital content skills
- Experience with email platforms (Mailchimp preferred)
- Strong writing and visual storytelling ability
- Comfortable being on-site regularly for content and events
- Familiar with WooCommerce, Square, or similar tools (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
Performance Goals
This position is evaluated on the ability to:
- Increase candle class bookings, event participation, and retail online sales.
- Develop creative marketing campaigns that build brand visibility
- Strengthen community engagement and brand partnerships.
- Generate measurable ROI through strategic marketing efforts.
