Retail Manager
Candleporium Fragrance House is seeking individuals who mirror our passion for exceptional retail and brand excellence. As the Retail Store Manager, you will be the lead in managing the daily operations of the store and guiding a great team of employees to achieve goals and ensure excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Drive store sales and profitability to meet or exceed targeted sales goals.
- Stay informed about merchandise, store policies, and company information in order to provide high-quality customer service.
- Recruit and develop a sales-oriented team through consistent efforts in hiring, training, and staff development.
- Respond to customer inquiries, address concerns, and handle feedback in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, manage issues such as product returns, exchanges, and warranty-related matters with efficiency and courtesy.
- Ensure that the total presentation and store displays are impactful and customer-focused, and that the store standards are being followed, including the plans for marketing/signage and sales promotions.
- Manage human resources-related issues, including staff performance reviews, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Control expenses, manage inventory, and uphold store safety and security standards.
- Prepare cash reports and merchandise orders.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team at Candleporium Fragrance House to develop promotions, discounts, and special events, utilizing a range of strategies to engage and entice customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Strong customer service skills are essential at Candleporium Fragrance House to ensure a positive shopping experience for our valued customers.
- Basic understanding of sales strategies and the ability to implement them effectively is essential for success at Candleporium Fragrance House.
- Previous experience in specialty retail sales with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and train others in a retail setting.
- Computer proficiency and the ability to handle transactions and use a point-of-sale system are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or more years of supervisory/management experience in a retail sales environment is required for the role at Candleporium Fragrance House.
- Knowledge of sales analysis and the ability to implement strategies for improvement are essential skills for success.
- Experience in inventory management and merchandising.
- Understanding of market trends and competition within the industry.
- Problem solving skills to address issues efficiently and maintain store operations.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
