After being laid off in 2020 during the pandemic, our founder, Yasmeen, found herself looking for an outlet in between virtual learning for her son and being stuck in the house. She found a safe haven in her bathroom. Away from all the demands of a mom and woman. That is where she began to pause and pour into herself, while creating a playlist along the way. Now as a mom of two, Yasmeen is committed to helping other women learn how to pause their overwhelm and press play on their mental health and wellness, through the same multi-sensory experience that kept her going during a rough time. As a music lover, self care enthusiast, and mental health advocate, Yasmeen believes that we are all one song and one self care session away from our breakthrough.

Our mission is to empower black, millennial women to unwind, recharge, and prioritize their well-being through multi-sensory and nostalgic experiences. We understand the chaos of life. Our candles are the self care soundtrack, designed to soothe your senses and spirit.
